Ann Cain, LSCSW

Ann Cain, LSCSW (she/her) is a clinically licensed therapist with a master’s in social work from Loyola University Chicago. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults, with a particular focus on supporting Queer clients navigating late adolescence through emerging adulthood.
Ann’s clinical expertise includes disordered eating, mood disorders, and anxiety. She believes that therapy is inherently relational and strives to create a supportive, affirming, and empowering space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. Through the therapeutic relationship, Ann works to honor and celebrate each client’s intersecting identities, ensuring they feel safe to share their experiences without the burden of educating their therapist.

Ann brings experience from a variety of mental health settings, including community mental health, inpatient hospitals, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. She also values the power of peer support and is familiar with 12-Step programs, SMART Recovery, and other community-based support networks.
Beyond clinical practice, Ann has worked in fair housing advocacy and permanent supportive housing programs, providing critical support to disabled individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. She believes in a holistic approach to healing, recognizing therapy as one tool among many in the journey of self-discovery and growth.
