    Denise Stutey, LSCSW

    Denise brings over two decades of expertise in the mental health field, specializing in guiding teens and adults through the challenges of grief, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, life transitions, self-esteem issues, trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and more. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, Denise creates a supportive and inclusive space for individuals of all identities.

    Denise’s passion for social work and therapy ignited during her high school years, leading her to pursue a degree dedicated to helping others. Her professional journey encompasses roles in community mental health, psychiatric hospital assessments, crisis counseling, school social work, and individual/family and group psychotherapy. As an empty nester herself, Denise brings personal insights from raising a child with ADHD.

    Denise’s therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Client and Solution focused models, and mindfulness techniques. She cultivates a safe, non-judgmental environment where individuals can embark on their healing and growth journeys.
