Rachael Foster, LPC-T
My approach is easygoing, compassionate, and passionate. I see clients ages 10 and up from all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, races, and ethnicities. Many clients are looking for someone who will truly listen, provide guidance, and offer practical tools to help them achieve their goals while navigating challenges from the past, present, or future.
I most often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. My experience includes working with individuals, couples, and small groups. I have worked with clients facing ADHD, disabilities, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ concerns, adoption and foster care issues, addiction, trauma, and more.
I have always been passionate about helping people and creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I believe every person is unique, and therapy should be tailored to the individual rather than expecting everyone to fit the same approach. I work collaboratively with clients to find the therapeutic methods that best support their needs and goals.
