Victoria Nitcher-Sherman, LCMFT
Victoria is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) with over 28 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She received her Master of Science degree in Individual, Marriage, and Family Therapy from Kansas State University in 1995.
Victoria’s approach to therapy is to help her clients create balance in their lives. She uses an eclectic approach, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, to provide support, compassion, and active listening. She helps clients process their emotions and experiences so they can create meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Victoria has extensive experience working with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trauma, both in the civilian and veteran populations. She has also worked with clients adjusting to life transitions, maternal mental health, grief, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, and depression. She works with clients ages 15-60.
In addition to her private practice, Victoria has also been a manager of several programs in Kansas and Connecticut, worked as a consultant and trainer, and developed online trainings for the state of Connecticut. She has also consulted for various behavioral health agencies.
Victoria is a highly skilled and experienced therapist who is passionate about helping her clients achieve their mental health goals. She is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where her clients can feel comfortable exploring their challenges and working towards healing and growth.
